Outlook:
UNC commit Coby WhiteGreenfield School graduated 3 seniors off of last year’s State Quarterfinal team. Greenfield split with Trinity Christian, the 1-A NCISAA State Champions in the regular season, but lost to the Crusaders in the playoffs. Greenfield returns two starters. Coby White, a junior who has committed to UNC and is one of the best guards in the country, and Dorieon Suggs, a senior forward, who was the Knights second leading scorer behind White. Greenfield has a couple of new players that will help the Knights this year. Elijah Mccaden, a 6’5 wing, and Octavius Lacey, a 6’4 wing will definitely help the Knights. So, I feel we will have one of the best backcourts in the state with Coby and Elijah. We have a very tough schedule, so hopefully we will be ready by February for the NCISAA State Tournament.
– We will be a lot more athletic this year. We will want to play a fast pace and put our playmakers in position to make plays and make everyone better.
– We have potential to be a good defensive team.
– It will take some time to gel with the new faces
