“Hopefully be First Team All-State. Contribute as much as I can. Try to get my team to the playoffs, we haven’t been there in 25 years. Just do the best that I can,” Justice said.
“I’ve been getting some camp invites for next year already. I’m hoping my hard work will pay off,” Justice said, when asked if colleges have taken notice to his game.
Justice is a true post player. He believes he will play the five this season for the Watkins Memorial Warriors, who compete in the Licking County Conference in central Ohio.
“Hopefully I make varsity, that’s my goal, to contribute to the varsity team and leave those seniors on a good note,” Justice said.
“My strengths are post moves, good shooter, and I have really good footwork for my size.” Justice continued, “My weaknesses are improving my speed.”
The freshman has been training with a pair of former Big Ten point guards to add some maturity to his raw talent.
“I’ve been training at TAD, which is in Granville … I train there five days a week with Trey Burke and Traevon Jackson.”
“I do mostly dribbling, because I need to work on that,” Justice said.
Strength and speed are also areas he’s begun focusing on.
Justice has an impressive basketball regiment for a kid just entering high school: if he’s not at TAD, he is either at Watkins Memorial or putting work in with the Mid Ohio Pumas program.
There’s reason to believe Justice could grow a few more inches: dad is 6’5” and mom is 6’0”.
Prep Hoops Ohio will continue to provide coverage of Logan Jutsice throughout his high school career. The young prospect is an intriguing prospect who could receive college recruitment once he gets in front of a few more eyes.
