He knocked down shots at an extremely high rate from midrange and deep while also facilitating and making some outstanding passes when playing the PG spot. The attribute that I probably liked the most about Jordan is his demeanor, although he plays the game hard at every moment, he seems to always be under control and doesn’t let his emotions show. The best way to describe Jordan Davis’ game is deceptive, he has sneaky athleticism and although he doesn’t have a large muscular frame he does play the game strong. We would not be surprised if Jordan receives some Division 2 offers soon as he has all the tools to be a very successful player on that level.
Najee Thomas, Seventy First H.S, 6’8, F/C: Najee’s improvement over the past year has been impressive, he still is learning the game and has a lot of raw talent but throughout camp he showed some flashes of how good he could possibly be. He is doing a much better job of catching the ball, finishing strong inside the paint with dunks on the offensive end. On the defensive end he showed flashes of how good he could be as well, he blocked and challenged shots at a high rate and also showed some decent lateral quickness when defending the pick and roll. At this time Najee is a high D3/Low D2 type of prospect but would be a player that Junior College programs would probably love as well, with some more time to get comfortable with the game he could develop into a very solid college big man.
