Trinity Christian graduated 7 seniors from the NCISAA 1A state championship team and 5 of those guys are playing college basketball. Trinity lost another player to a transfer so losing 8 guys will have a impact on them early. “We could have up to 8 sophomores on this roster and 5 of them could potentially start.” Heath Vandevender said “I think we could start slow until the new guys pick up on how we will do things- especially on the defensive end. With Ethan, Joey and Greg we have one of the best front lines in NC. We have several guards but Josh, KJ and Talton stand out. Josh is so versatile and can play spots 1 through 3 for us. I think that will be on our strengths this year is our length and versatility(guys). Leadership will be a huge factor for us due to new guys and our youth. Each team and journey is different. Our goals remain the same each year for each group. Win our home games, win our city, win our division games and win the state championship. We will see what this group can accomplish this year.”
