Coming off a season in which they knocked off state title contender Concord High School and UNC commit Rechon Black in the first round of the 3A NCHSAA State Playoffs, North Forsyth returns 10 players including leading scorer, 6’4” junior guard, Anthony Hicks (All-Conference, All-District, Frank Spencer Tournament MVP). He is joined by 2-time All-Conference member, Marquese Walker, and starters Deante Petree and Steven Randle (Both Honorable Mention All-Conference). The Vikings return the majority of their roster this season and expect to be back atop the Mid-Piedmont Conference and contend for a state championship.
Schedule Notes: They will be attending the Phenom Hoops Feast of Champions at Cox Mill High School
on November 26th. They will also be hosting the SouthData Winter Classic at North Forsyth HS on
December 22-23 and will play in the Annual Frank Spencer Holiday Classic following the Christmas Holiday. (North Forsyth has won the most Frank Spencer National Holiday Classic Tournament Championships. The Tournament is the County-wide event that occurs every winter).

Sean Vestal has a 178-97 record in his 10 years as the Vikings’ coach, he was recently named head coach of the West boys’ team next July in the East-West All-Star game in Greensboro. He came to North Forsyth High School in 1998 and had been the head coach since the begininng of the 2006-2007 season. Vestal attended UNC-Pemroke after lettering in three sports at Morehead HS in Eden, NC.
