“North Dakota State and Sioux Falls are the top two contenders right now,” said Kreuser. “Both are good academic schools. Both places give me a great opportunity to further my basketball career. Excited for either path.”
“No more visits planned,” said Kreuser. “I might take one more up to Fargo to see NDSU again.”
NDSU and USF were at many of the Fury Kallman games when they were winning event after event in the spring and many were still wondering how good they were.
Everybody knew they were good when Fury K won the State Tournament and then the Great Plains Alliance in June.
“I have been blessed to play on multiple AAU teams, with teammates and friends that I will have a relationship with forever,” Rocky told NHR.
“It was incredible winning state this year and to be as successful as we were, especially as a “second team”. Over the years, AAU has gotten me tougher. My coaches have helped me become more skilled in the post and on the perimeter.”
Rocky also has improving his high school team in mind. He scored 16.1 points per game for Totino-Grace last year and returns along with second and third leading scorers Charlie Jacob and Nathan Kavolak.
The Eagles have the talent but last year finished four games under .500 as they had a regular season 2016 collapse losing 13 of their last 16 regular season games (they started 8-2 but the injury to Charlie Jacob really hurt them as he missed 11 games).
“Stay in the weight room,” said Rocky of what they need to do this fall to prepare. “I think the biggest thing is to get more and more reps so that we become more of a unit.”
