Between season Jeremiah played with Howard Pulley and was a reserve on the 51-6 team. The experience allowed Jeremiah to see what it takes to be a high level player.
“The best part of playing with Howard Pulley was learning from some really good guys and seeing how they are always in attack mode and they always play hard,” Coddon told NHR. “It made me realize what it takes to get to the next level.”
With three of the top four players returning in Codddon, Michael Jones, and Jake West the Royals are a top ten level squad. Coddon has football to think about now though and the 6-foot-187 pound wideout led the team with 42 receptions, 667 yards, and nine receiving touchdowns plus a kick return score.
“My main focus is football right now trying to be perfect everyday in practice and games,” Coddon said. “But I will still find time to work on my game putting shots up as much as I can.”
What about college? Football or basketball? Jeremiah is unsure at the moment but a guy that produces this much in both sports will be a college athlete.
“I haven’t talked to any coaches this summer on my phone,” said Coddon. “I don’t have anything planned for visits. And any school that wants me to go there I would visit.”
