“Some of the best experiences from AAU were definitely the Peach Jam, and playing with and against the best players in the country,” said Johnson who started for Pulley on the EYBL circuit.
Now Isaac returns with starting center Odell Wilson, 6th man JaQuan Sanders-Smith, and reserve Tayler Johnson as they work to defend last year’s Class A State Championship.
“Losing three starters really makes it tough but we are young and talented so we just got to stay in the gym together and build chemistry and get better individually and make sure everyone knows their role,” said Johnson.
Isaac also has to look at basketball at the college level. One visit is planned so far.
“I’m hearing the most from Western Illinois, Wisconsin-Green Bay and Siena,” said Johnson. “The weekend of September 24-26 I’m visiting Western Illinois. I plan to visit all 3 of the schools.”
