The Minnesota Crossfire won 31 of their 48 games and grew tremendously with each event.
“A highlight this year was being part of a 30-win team which was a great achievement for the organization,” Woda told NHR. “In the past I have been on teams starting at 13u team playing up at the 14u level.
“I had the opportunity to play with guys like Brad Davison, Theo John, Jack Hutchison, and Gavin Baumgartner all who have gone on to make their mark on the 2017 class. Playing with high level players and high level competition has given me the confidence to be ready at the next level in college.”
Woda scored 19 points per game for Heritage Christian last season on their way to 21 wins. Woda and Zach Johansen are one of the elite 1-2 punches in all of Class A basketball and they will prepare hard this fall.
“Just getting in the gym as much as I can with my teammates getting a lot of shots up,” Woda said. “I also I plan to be in the weight room everyday getting stronger. Also, I will be involved in some camps like the comets one and the Northstar Hoops one.”
Woda is a guy that D3s and NAIA schools are all over but he is also hoping to hear from NSIC level schools.
“I’m hearing the most from Gustavus, Northwestern, St. John’s, Waldorf, Bethel and other MIAC schools,” Woda said. “I also get texts or emails from other NAIA schools around the country about once a week.
“Those include Westmont in California and Brescia University in Kentucky. I’m still looking for division two programs to show interest.”
“I don’t have anything officially planned but I would like to go down and visit Waldorf in late September and would like to also visit a division two school.”
