“Right now I have not set up any visits, but I’ll be getting them all done very soon,” Broc told NHR. “I want to visit all the schools that are recruiting me to get a feel for it and see if it fits me.
“I’m hearing the most from Missouri Western, Sioux Falls, Newman, Jamestown, Minot State, Drake, Central Connecticut State, St. Cloud State, and Truman state.”
Broc, who showed everyone from April to the end July that he can play both forward spots, plans to work the next three months on becoming even more face-up skilled. Yes he will have to play in the Pine Island post but he will be handling some, hitting at the arc, and attacking triple teams this winter.
“I’m planning on getting in the gym with some of my teammates that are not in football,” said Broc about his senior year. “Also get in the gym as much as possible, and build a chemistry with each other.”
The Fury Zurn team that Broc completed with went a healthy 35-10 and that was with key players missing key time to injury.
The time with the Fury provided Broc with some unforgettable experiences.
“One of my top experiences was playing in Pittsburgh at one of the bigger tournaments that weekend,” said Finstuen.
“It was great competition and it made me a better basketball player because we played top competition. Playing them made me adjust to the things I do on the court.
“Also another memorable moment was when Weston (Baker Magrath) broke the back board in Sioux Falls!”
Broc put up 20.1 points and 11.2 rebounds a game as a junior. What’s next? 26/27 and 14? Could be.
