Brandon transferred in from Alaska prior to the 2015-2016 school year, joining a loaded WOG team that would eventually be ranked by numerous media members as a preseason Top 25 team in the country. With so much firepower on the roster with guys such as Jalen Harris, Rawle Alkins, and Blake Harris many people overlooked Brandon, but as the season went on he began to turn heads with his ability and potential. In the day and age where many bigs want to play outside and shoot jump shots, Brandon is one of the few that is comfortable playing inside as well as doing the dirty work for his squad. Whether it is getting rebounds , blocking shots, put backs, getting lose balls, he basically showed that he can do all the small things that you want from a big man at the next level .
Recruitment
Fast forward to April, Brandon is playing with Team Loaded on the Adidas Gauntlet Circuit, he entered the evaluation periods with about 5 offers from Low to Mid Major type schools. As he continued to play against other talented big around the country, more schools became interested and offered, before the end of May he added Tennessee, Baylor, South Carolina and more to his list of schools that had extended a scholarship. However that was far from the end, with more stellar play coming from Huffman in July he has added more offers from ACC schools such as Georgia Tech & Clemson. Whatever school that is fortunate enough to get this young man is getting a player that’s going to bring maximum effort on both ends of the floor but also is a stellar young man off the court.
