The 6-foot-7 power forward mentioned Temple, Penn State, Georgetown, and James Madison have been reaching out to him. He recently visited Georgetown, and says James Madison has reached out about a visit also.
But still so young, Lemons is not too concerned with it all right now.
“It’s not that important right now. I’m just trying to keep getting better,” he said.
Currently a post player, Lemons says he’s working on developing his perimeter skill-set. He’d like to ultimately play out there as a small forward.
“I’m best in the post, and I can take it out and shoot the midrange,” said Lemons, who had a nice freshman season with the Knights.
“My role as a freshman was to play the five role; rebound, play good defense and score the ball in the low post. My goals for next season are to play around the perimeter more, and take more shots than I did this year.”
He’ll continue to hone his skills this summer while playing with Team Durant 15U.
“The spring was more of a learning experience because we all had to get to know each other, and get situated and know our personnel,” said Lemons.
“I’m looking to work on ball-handling and getting stronger. I’m looking to become a three. I play some small forward now already with Team Durant.”
