Noah Snedden is a rangy wing with a pure stroke from deep, and he will be a key cog for the Bulldogs the next two seasons.
Last season as a sophomore he averaged 4.8 points per game, his production should increase exponentially this winter.
“I’m going to have to step up and fill some big shoes, we have two seniors who left and they led us in almost all (statistical) categories,” said Snedden. “Me and a couple other guys are going to have to step-up and lead like they did.”
The rangy shooting guard drilled back-to-back-to-back 3s in the second half of an Iowa Cornsharks 16U game last weekend; we know he can shoot, but he’s working to become a more versatile threat.
“I’m a decent shooter and I try and get to the basket as much as possible. And I’m mostly a pass-and-cut type player,” said Snedden.
“I’m working on coming off screens and shooting it. And I’m also working on my post moves, just because my team next season will need some size in the post a lot more than we need a guard.”
Still with plenty of time to get his recruitment off the ground, Snedden is hoping that things can start up for him this summer.
“I’m just trying to get a lot more looks. I haven’t gotten anything yet, but I do want to go play college basketball somewhere,” he said. “So I’m hoping that some college coaches start noticing, and I start making my way higher up.”
