Ellis is a flashy scoring point guard, who can attack the lane and score from anywhere on the floor. Can knock down shots from fifteen feet all the way out to the three-point consistently. Blessed with long arms and very athletic, Ellis can play both ends of the floor. With a quick first step and quick hands he keeps the opposing player in front of him on defense and can get the basketball by them on offense. “I am basically a combo guard that can come off the ball or off the bounce but can score from all spots. I am a good on-ball defender and I am a playmaker”.
Ellis has been scoring the basketball at a high level since his freshman year at Kestrel Heights High School in Durham, N.Car where he averaged 19 points per game. Through eleven games with Team Felton 16U he is averaging 13,9 points per game on a loaded squad. Team Felton and Ellis will play in Big Shots All American Camp July 6 Myrtle Beach, SC and Under Armour Finals July 13-16. Suwanee, Ga.
Southern University, Santa Clara and North Carolina Central have all recently offered the Team Felton 16U PG. Clemson, Murray State and Kennesaw State have expressed interest.
