He entered the starting lineup at Scotlandville as a sophomore and has helped the Hornets to a 102-9 record over the last three seasons with a state title in 2015. As a senior, Adebutu was second on the team in scoring and assists with averages of 14.8 and 2.8 while adding 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals. He also shot 52 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range but is still looking for the right fit at the next level.
Back in January, Adebutu received his first offer from one of the country’s top NAIA programs, LSU-Alexandria, but hasn’t received much attention on the Division I level as of yet. He also played his summer basketball with Nike Elfrid Payton Elite where he shot 36.4 percent from three in 13 games on the D1 Circuit.
