“Our season ended with a close loss to New London-Spicer,” senior Seth Goepferich said. “Overall i thought we had a nice season. Throughout the year I feel like I became a more confident player, specifically on the offensive end.”
Seth is a 6-foot-10 center who played his summer ball for the Southwest Stars. If a program can work with him on confidence and polish, he could be a dangerous college player down the road. Especially at the D3 level, where you don’t see a kid with that height very often.
“I have not decided on a college yet,” Seth said. “I’m either going to attend South Dakota State University and not play basketball, or I will attend St. John’s University and play basketball there.
“I just finished a visit to St. John’s, and I really enjoyed it,” Seth added. “I have another visit to SDSU in the coming weeks. My decision will come down to which college is a better fit for myself and my family.”
Seth is planning on pursuing a nursing degree.
