His Luverne team didn’t bring much back from last year besides Quinton but they have competed against just about everybody for their eight wins so far. Siebenahler is happy with how they have competed.
“I think the season has been overall very good, we have came out against some of the best teams in our conference playing hard and surprising a lot of people,” Quinton told NHR today.
“To reach our goals we need to take care of the ball, take good shots, and play our tempo during the game.”
Siebenahler had a really nice spring and summer with the Minnesota Heat catching the eyes of a lot of schools. His game has grown this winter as he’s playing away from the hoop more and has been a leader.
“I think that I have became more comfortable pulling up from the 15 foot range and also taking the ball strong to the hoop. I need to help my teammates play more as a team, I also need to keep everyone on the bench and on the floor upbeat and confident.”
Where Siebenahler will play next year is unknown. He’s looked at several levels including walking-on at several area D1 programs. He’s heard from schools all over the place.
“I am hearing from all levels, Northern Iowa, Cleveland State, Missouri State, walk on possibilities, division two from multiple states, and division threes from all over,” Quinton said.
“I have not decided, I am getting out to more games and campuses as my season is winding down.”
