Aage is part of a senior trio (including Ade Murkey and Duluth-signed Trenton Krueger) who all average over 15 PPG. There are very few Class AA teams that match up with SCL in both size and skill, which is why I’m predicting a good chance at a title for the Crusaders.
“We don’t have the pressure,” Rovney told NHR. “We aren’t the champs. Really we are just trying to enjoy the moment and have fun doing it. We are better offensively this year; last year we averaged around 50 points, and this year it is around 70.”
If for some reason his season ends this weekend, Aage’s basketball career is far from over. He has trimmed his college choices down to a group of four.
“Not in any particular order, I like SDSU, Grand View, St. John’s, and Minot State,” Rovney said. Grand View and Minot have both extended offers while SDSU’s opportunity would be as a walk-on.
