Brown continued his rule over Northwest Iowa basketball last Monday night when he poured in 38 points in another impressive Indians win – a 63-58 triumph over Spencer. The North Dakota commit – who recently rose to No. 11 in our 2016 rankings – added 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in the win.
2016 Jacob Ehlen, 6′ G (Belle Plaine)
Belle Plaine is recruiting right now, winners of seven straight, and Ehlen is a big reason why. He had one of his best games of the season last Monday in a win over Iowa Valley, Marengo, scoring 37 points. Most of his damage was done from the perimeter, where he connected on 10 3s. It’s one of five double-digit 3-point performances this season.
2016 Ted Brown, 6’10 C (Dowling Catholic)
Ted Brown has been great this season for the Maroons, and he was at his best last Friday night in a win over Johnson. The 6-foot-10 Concordia-St. Paul commit scored a career-high 31 points on 12-16 shooting, and added 8 rebounds for good measure.
2017 Caleb Rasmussen, 5’11 G (Harlan)
The Harlan guard averages 9.5 points per game this season for the Cyclones, but went on a scoring spree last Tuesday night in a win over Atlantic, dropping a career-high 41 on the Trojans. He also dished-out a game high 6 assists. Whatever routine he went through before that game, we recommend doing it for all games.
2016 Ryan Hawkins, 6’6 SF (Atlantic)
Hawkins saw what Rasmussen did against his Trojans on Tuesday, and he one-upped him on Saturday. Certainly one of the more jaw-dropping performances of the season, the Wayne State commit poured in 45 points in the 78-60 win over Creston, that’s the third best scoring performance this season. He also grabbed 17 rebounds, dished-out 4 assists, swiped 3 steals, and swatted 2 shots.
