- Lakota East (8-3) at Lakota West (4-5), Friday: This is the second matchup between the district rivals this season. This Friday’s game will be considered a Greater Miami Conference game. Lakota West leads the all-time series 18-14 but East has won four consecutive games including the game in December. Watch for 6-7 junior forward Evan Kuhlman, who had a career-high 28 points for Lakota East in a loss to Wilmington this past week. Lakota West senior 6-5 forward Ky’Von Mattress averages 11.6 points and six rebounds.
- Summit Country Day (5-1) at CHCA (8-3), Friday: An excellent matchup in the Miami Valley Conference Scarlet division. Both teams are in the hunt for the division title. CHCA has won three consecutive games. Senior guard Blake Southerland averages 13.6 points and 5.6 assists for the Eagles. Senior guard Erik Kohlan averages 12.5 points and 8.7 rebounds. Summit has three players averaging double figures in scoring, including junior forward TJ Walker (13.0 ppg., 4.8 apg.). Junior guard Sam Martin averages 12.8 points and junior Alex Dahling averages 11.5 points.
- La Salle (7-1) at Elder (10-0), Friday: This should be a classic at The Pit. Elder is 10-0 for the second straight season. The Panthers won the Fort Lauderdale Beach Holiday Classic Tournament. Watch for senior guard Frankie Hofmeyer, who is one of the area’s top uncommitted players in the 2016 class. He averages 18.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals. La Salle was the Kingdom of the Sun runner-up. Watch for junior guard CJ Fleming (Bellarmine commit) along with senior guard Jeremy Larkin (Northwestern football commit) in this physical game.
- St. Xavier (4-5) at Moeller (9-1), Friday: Moeller has plenty of momentum after its upset win over Mater Dei (Calif.) in the fifth place game of the Beach Ball Classic. Mater Dei was ranked in the top 10 nationally by MaxPreps. Moeller senior guard Trey McBride (Mount Vernon Nazarene) was selected to the all-tournament team. St. Xavier is led by senior guard Johnny Bubenhofer, who averages 10.4 points.
- Aiken (8-2) at Woodward (8-1), Friday: Woodward enters this game having won seven consecutive games but will face a significant test in Aiken. Watch for Woodward junior guard Will Coker, who averages 22 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 steals. Aiken is led by senior point guard Carlik Jones, a Radford signee, who averages 22.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists. Junior 6-4 guard Lonnie Berry averages 19.1 points and 7.6 rebounds.
