Week 7 Rankings: AAAA & AAA
Christmas break took away a lot of the potential games but we needed to get new rankings up before the holiday events and of course we have a new number one in Class AAA so that was needed to be added as well.

- Why did we drop Champlin Park so far? The DeLaSalle win lost some quality and they did not play well against Hopkins where as the team above them (Wayzata) almost beat Hopkins. So they drop to 9 but stay above….
- Armstrong. Armstrong is our new team to the rankings. They have won five in a row, the St. Louis Park, Totino-Grace, and Cooper wins look better, and they were a basket away from Champlin Park who is just above them.
- Tartan drops out after losing to a struggling Minneapolis Roosevelt team. Tartan has lost to Richfield and Roosevelt.
- Who else did we look at adding? Mounds View but felt they need to beat some better teams before beating added, CDH who likely needs another quality win to get added, and Elk River who needs about two quality wins after getting thrashed by Maple Grove.

- DeLaSalle lost to BSM by 17. That’s of course knocking them out of the top spot. What happens next? We give a new number one. But still think DeLaSalle turns things around lands where we expect them to after some Thorson coaching.
- Waseca also to drop a decent amount of they were beaten strongly by St. Croix Lutheran.
- Last week we thought Marshall, beat Stillwater, turns out that was wrong. We correct that putting them 10th with Rocori
- BSM went up that high? Yes that is high with 4 losses BUT those losses include 3 to AAAA teams and one to Orono who is above them. In AAA competition they are above the teams they beat, behind who they lost to. What about being above Henry? BSM was a bit closer in the game with common opponent Minneapolis South.
- Totino-Grace is 11th.
