The 5’11” guard has an effortless shooting stroke with consistent mechanics and lift off the floor. He was absolutely lethal from thee point territory in the catch and shoot. Coffaro is more than just a plus shooter however. He handles it well and is crafty getting in and out of traffic with the ball. Plays with confidence and swagger.
We caught up with the junior to discuss the event.
“I have enjoyed it. It is a lot fun. You get a little bit of everything. Some combine stuff and ended it out with some games.”
How would he breakdown the strengths of his game?
“I am point guard that can shoot the ball a little bit and get to the rim. I like to get to the paint, hit the open man, and relocate. Find my shot at all times and knock them down.”
Coffaro ran with Chicago Lockdown on the travel team circuit this past spring and summer at the 16U level.
“We were a pretty good team. Better than we expected and looking forward to next year.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“I was down at the Wright State elite camp. A little from Eckerd College in Florida. I have talked to Colgate a little bit.”
Sleeper prospect worth monitoring at the D2 level!
