<h2>AIA Fall League Player of the Week</h2>Ryan Jackson (76ers) Fenwick 2018 Jackson is a six foot guard who plays hard until it’s time for a sub. In an early matchup against last week player of the week Isaiah Turner, Jackson went toe to toe with Turner and at time got the best of him. He was able to get in the lane at will. Ryan has a strong upper body and knows how to use it to his advantage. He was able to get many open layups and the ones that missed he quickly rebounded for scores. The Fenwick sophomore finished the game with a strong 22 points and 12 rebounds performance, but despite his efforts walked away with the loss. <h2>Final Results and Standouts</h2>Pistons (60) beat 76ers (52) Isaiah Turner leads the way with 24 points for the Pistons supported by a strong team defense that limited the 76ers high powered offense in the second half. Ryan Jackson had 22 points for the 76ers in the effort. Bulls (61) beat Nets (56) A scrappy undermanned Nets team found a way to stick around with the undefeated Bulls leading to a punch out that went the distance. However, the Nets ran out of gas after using their full court press to close the distance in the final 5 minutes. Danny Weinstein led a balanced scoring effort for the Bulls with 14 points. Tyler Kussis had 18 and Noah Shutan had 16 for the depleted Nets. Heat (66) beat Hawks (44) Less was more for the Heat as Zach Lim and Spyros Vaselopulous each put in 18 points with no subs to take them out of the game. Eric Adler had 13 points in the effort for the Hawks. Knicks (54) beat Magic (31) Led by Ryan Jones with 14 points the Knicks jumped out to an early lead on the Magic, who despite showing marked improvement on the defensive end in the second half were unable to close the gap. Jakey French led the Magic with 9. Hornets (53) beat Celtics (38) It was raining threes for the Hornets as they poured in nine from downtown in their victory over the Celtics. Steven Feldman had the most sting for the Hornets with 16 points. Brendan Coburn led the more old fashioned attack of the Celtics with 12. Wizards (48) beat Bucks (41) The Wiz, led by Miles Kadish with 14, used height and numbers to overwhelm the undermanned and undersized Bucks. The feisty Bucks, led by Ahmad Bynum with 14 brought intensity and effort from the jump as they played the aggressor early and often in this one. Pacers (51) beat Warriors (49) Johnny Koenig had 17 as the Pacers outlasted the Warriors in what was a wire to wire barn burner. Ben Sacks had 18 for the Warriors in the loss. Clippers (55) beat Cavs (37) Connor Sullivan and Max Claypool each had 20 for the Clippers as they handled the upstart Cavs who were led by Anthony Papianaou with 14. Grizzlies (55) beat Lakers (48) Defense led to offense for the Grizzlies as the quickly got the ball to point guard Niko Richardi (17 points) who got it where it needed to be, which was most often into the hands of leading scorer Kurt Zachary (21 points). Brendan Nemoy again led the Lakers, this time putting in 16 in the losing effort. Nathan Dziekan was a presence inside as he altered shots and followed up on misses on his way to 10 points for the Lakers. Thunder (65) beat Trail Blazers (60) Battered and bruised, Caleb Mayhorn led the way for the Thunder with 18 points even as he went to the bench two times after hard knocks. The Blazers led by one at half with a balanced attack led by Jeff Bikus with 13. They were not able to hold on as the Thunder got out in transition in the second half and Jack Vaselaney found his stroke from deep (15 points) for the Thunder. Rockets (64) beat Trail Blazers (35) Tommy Gardiner could not miss in the first half for the Rockets, finishing with 22. His teammates picked up right where he left off in the second as their length continued to bother an undersized Blazers team who ran out of gas in their second game of a back to back. Charlie Volpe had 9 for the Blazers.
