Preseason All-Region Teams: VHSL 6A North

<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">As the weather gets colder and the high school season gets closer, we will be doing various previews, predictions and breakdowns to prepare you as best as possible for the season. These segments will include everything from team previews to divisional breakdowns. While Virginia high school basketball is always crazy and unpredictable, it&#39;s always fun to predict ahead of time, then go back and compare at season&#39;s end. </span></p><p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">Today, we start looking at the VHSL regions with a look at the 6A North Region, led by state runner up Westfield and state semifinalists WT Woodson. The region is packed with talented and experienced players, and despite Westfield being an early favorite, it should be a competitive region with storied programs like Battlefield, Woodson, Chantilly, Annandale and others bringing in talented rosters. Here&#39;s a look at our preseason all region team for 6A North.</span></p> <h2>MVP: Tyler Scanlon; Senior WF; Westfield</h2><div><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">The Boston University commit returns as the catalyst for a talented Westfield team that will look to make another trip to the Siegel Center this season. The 6’5 wing is a sniper from deep and he loves the bright lights, as he hit big shot after big shot down the stretch in their state tournament run.
