UPCOMING SEASON
Current Roster Makeup: This is a team that lost a lot last year. Not only did they lose Logan White and Alec Pfledderer to graduation, they will also lose Brandon Peters as he enrolls early to play football at Michigan. They flipside is they get a pair of impact transfers. Shawn Moore gives them a little size and athleticism on the wing and Zyan Davis will give them a true post player. They also get Hayden Crowder and Jack McCue back as big minute guys last season. Both can shoot the ball and spread the floor. Anton Cliffton looked solid in open gym and should be able to provide a more versatile post option opposite of Zyan Davis. They won't be deep but if everything comes together they should have plenty of talent at each spot on the floor.
2015-16 Season Outlook: Avon struggled last season and this year won't get any easier. They will get a healthy dose of solid Indianapolis area teams as well as a rematches with Terre Haute South, Hamilton Southeastern, and Martinsville. You know what you will get with McCue and Crowder but you need Jordan Peterson, Cliffton, Davis, and Moore to play bigger than last season. Best guess is just south of a .500 record but there are going to be plenty of teams on their schedule that will have a down year including Brownsburg and Zionsville.
