Recruiting Report: Landon Kirkwood (2016)

<p><strong>Landon Kirkwood</strong> found a fit.  The Brooklyn Center explosive wing has played on other teams both high school and grassroots levels, but playing with Net Gain helped a lot of things come together for Kirkwood.</p> <p>“This year helped me develop a clean jumper and got me moving my feet a little better on defense and really paying attention to detail both on Defense and Offense.</p> <p>“My (Grassroots) experience as a whole was pretty low up until I joined Net Gain Sports with Coach Al Harris but overall this year was the only year I enjoyed and had fun playing basketball.”</p> <p>Brooklyn Center has talent.  So much talent.  Unfortunately a year ago some bad things happened that resulted in a struggle of a season but now things have moved on and Landon is ready for a new experience.</p> <p>“I&#39;m feeling dominate coming into my senior year with a new coach and all. Also getting back with my teammates and competing for that state championship, I’m excited,” Landon said.</p> <p>“Steps that need to be taken for us to win are being consistent and focused because we all as a family have to be focused on the prize and consistent with our play.”</p> <p>Kirkwood has scholarship level talent, potential, and ability.  Someday he will sign a national letter of intent.</p> <p>“Nothing really (going ) not until after first semester of school,” said Kirkwood of recruiting.</p>
