His scoring has become as prolific as it gets, while his defense has become immensely more intense. Schuessler closely guards his matchup and is more than capable of guarding all five positions at 6’2. Coming up with 4.6 SPG alongside a consistent 20.8 PPG, Schuessler showcases what it’s like to be a dominant 2-way guard in the box state.

Schuessler is a small school standout who has made a massive jump and now sits just outside of the Top 10 scorers in the entire class at 24.8 pigs, and I bet that changes soon. What stands out about him is his huge jump from the last time he was playing. He’s putting up a season that has him as one of the top prospects in the conference and in the conversation of POY for the conference. He’s scored in double figures in each game with a couple of 30-point outings, he’s averaging 8.5 rebounds and is putting up 6.8 assists as well. If there’s a play to be made, he’s making it. He’s a pass-first guy who takes advantage. He is an incredible defender who is putting up 4 steals a game and is a versatile defender as well. We continue to have him rising, and he jumps on the radar as a prospect to get eyes on. 

Schuessler is proving why his name shouldn’t be a surprise at Clear Creek, putting up 23.6 points per game. He’s a scoring machine with range from deep, knocking down shots from the corner and baseline and is equally dangerous driving hard to the rim. Defenders have to account for him everywhere on the floor, as he consistently finds ways to score in bunches. Schuessler’s combination of shooting, craftiness and scoring instincts makes him one of the most reliable and potent offensive threats in the area this season

The high volume shot taker for Clear Creek, Schuessler has taken on a massive role for that program with his all-around scoring. Letting it fly from all three levels, he has a difficult task of facing the forefront of opposing defenses each possession. Although tasked with a large shot diet, he has been essential orchestrating their offense as needed, bringing a diverse skill set.
