Davis scored a game-high 21 points in the 18-point win over Farragut High in the state quarters and a game-high 18 points in Walker Valley’s conquering of the gigantic Whitehaven Tigers Friday. In the crushing loss to Bartlett for the title, Zach paced everyone with 24 points (8-14 FG’s). Consider Zach shot 50% from the floor against two teams filled with future junior college and division 1 athletes, most of them 6-foot-3 or taller.
