About Xavier

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a skilled player, shooting is my strongest asset. I can do more than shoot. I can put the ball on the floor and play solid positional defense. I play well in a freestyle offense with lots of ball movement.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong IQ for the game. I do not allow the flow of the game impact my emotions on the floor. I am humble and I communicate well with my coaches and teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At my high school, I have served in First Priority, which a student led faith outreach spreading the news of Jesus to fellow students. I have done peer tutoring to help my school. I also serve at my local church. I have also trained 6th to 9th graders in basketball to help them improve their basics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a natural leader. I was chosen to be a captain as a junior on my High School Team. I am a team first player. I feel my work ethic and positivity are my strengths.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Early September of my Freshmen year, I fractured my fibula at a basketball workout. I worked very hard to be ready by late November, but suffered from knee tendinitis all season, which limited my travel ball season in spring of that year.

What type of college are you looking for?

Academics are my top priority. My dream would be to play in college to balance with my learning in what I want to pursue after college. Ideally, I want to stay in the region, but if the right opportunity presented itself, I would be open to any possibility offered to me..
