Evans brings a smooth, controlled game that stands out immediately. At 6’3, he has great size for a lead guard and uses it effectively on both ends. He’s shifty with the ball, changes pace well, and can knock down perimeter shots when given space. What may go unnoticed at first glance is his passing ability; he consistently makes the right reads and keeps the offense flowing. Evans poured in 17 points in a tough matchup against Higher Level and continues to prove he’s a name to monitor closely this summer for Team Loaded 804 Black.

Evans once again proved why he’s one of the most reliable guards in the gym. He filled the stat sheet with 14 points, 5 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 3 steals per game while going a perfect 100% from the free throw line.

Beyond the numbers, Evans controlled the tempo, defended at a high level, and delivered timely scoring when his team needed it. Already a 1,000-point scorer, he continues to play with confidence and purpose. His ability to both score and facilitate makes him a tough cover, and his leadership as a team captain is evident every time he steps on the floor.

He may still be flying under the radar in some circles, but performances like this won’t keep him there for long.

on Evans is the type of guard that doesn’t need a ton of attention to make a big impact. At 6’3”, he brings ideal size for a combo guard and uses it well when attacking downhill. His ability to change speeds stands out immediately. He doesn’t just rely on straight-line athleticism. Instead, he keeps defenders off balance with pacing and control.

Evans excels when he’s getting into the paint. He collapses defenses and either finishes or makes the right read. He’s also proven to be a reliable perimeter shooter. He can knock down shots from beyond the arc when defenses sag or go under screens. That balance between driving and shooting makes him difficult to guard.

This past weekend, Evans showed exactly what he’s capable of. He poured in 22 points in a win over VA Havoc 434 while playing with CBG Elite. Performances like that are becoming more common, and his role with Team Loaded 804 Black continues to grow. He’s a guard who produces and competes. He checks a lot of boxes. College coaches should start tracking him more closely as the summer unfolds.

Won Evans may be a newer name to some. However, he is a guard who could quickly gain attention this summer. Evans will take on a major role with Team Loaded Black 804. He will serve as one of the primary ball handlers. He will also be one of the playmakers.

Evans is a very effective ball handler who plays with great quickness and confidence. His ability to change speeds and directions makes him difficult to stay in front of. This allows him to break down defenses and create opportunities for teammates.

He does a great job reading the floor and making the simple play. This can involve kicking out to shooters on the perimeter. It can also mean dropping the ball off to bigs around the rim. With increased opportunities this summer, Evans has a strong chance to take a big leap. He could establish himself as one of the quicker and more dynamic guards in the area.

Won Evans continues to be one of the more intriguing combo guards in the 2027 class.

Evans is long and shifty. He can light it up from beyond the arc. He also creates off the bounce. He changes speed and pace well. He keeps defenders off balance. He has a crafty handle that allows him to get into the paint.

He’s been somewhat under the radar, but the tools are clearly there. His work ethic stands out, and he’s steadily building confidence in his game. As he adds strength and continues to develop physically, his overall effectiveness will only increase.

Evans has next-level potential. The summer environment, where spacing and pace benefit skilled guards, could showcase just how impactful he can be.

Won Evans may have flown under the radar at times. He played on a talented Varina squad. But make no mistake — he can really shoot it.

Won uses his length well and excels at changing pace. He can rise over defenders and knock down shots. He is also comfortable getting to his spots off the bounce. He doesn’t rush his game. He reads the defense, plays within himself, and punishes mistakes.

He’s a gym rat and a worker, and that shows in his confidence from deep. When he gets going, he can flip momentum in a matter of minutes. The summer setting, where spacing opens up and shot-makers thrive, could be a perfect stage for him.

College coaches looking at long-term development will be intrigued by his size, mechanics, and upside.

Shifty guard who can get downhill with burst coming out of his crossovers, hesitations or spins to establish a controlled advantage over his matchup. Plays with an edge that is shown in his takes to the rim where he seeks out and absorbs contact while finishing. If Evans wasn’t breaking his defender down in isolations, he was knocking down shots off the catch as others such as Stewart demanded the defense’s attention on drives.
