Wentzel showed ability on the offensive end with shot making and facilitating. He provided floor spacing at times to play off the ball and be available for perimeter shot making. In the ½ court setting he also showed positive court awareness and vision while finding open cutters in gaps for proper setups.

Keeps his head up while handling the ball, showing the vision to find passing lanes and feed inside the paint. Uses an effective hesitation move to create advantages and has promising three-point range. Defensively, shows awareness with his IQ as a weak-side helper.
