His exceptional skills were on full display as he demonstrated remarkable ball-handling and the ability to finish plays in heavy traffic. Yakoobian also showcased his versatility with a consistent shooting range extending beyond the arc, and from mid-range. Beyond his offensive contributions, he also made a significant impact on the defensive end by guarding the perimeter and even making crucial shot-blocking plays.

Yakoobian is coming off huge 1st weekend at ZGXL, averaging 19 points a game. During week 2 in AC, Yakoobian was a standout there as well, including a 14 point performance to lead his team to victory. Yakoobian is a lethal shooter from downtown with a smooth repeatable form. He can also attack the basket and finish in traffic. On defense, Yakoobian’s length and athleticism allows him to block shots consistently. One of his most notable performances during the high school season was a 20 point and 10 rebound game against Thayer Academy.
