The two-sport athlete continues to make noticeable strides on the basketball court and played a major role in Jackson-Reed’s dominant opening win over Colonia. Bryant finished with 18 points, finding success in the mid-range and around the basket. A powerful and athletic forward who embraces physicality, he plays much bigger than his listed 6-foot-5 and allows the Tigers to maintain their up-tempo style without sacrificing too much size or toughness up front.

Jackson-Reed impressed as a tough-nosed unit in a hard-fought OT loss to Hargrave’s Grind Session team, and nobody embodied that spirit to the extent of Bryant. A big, physical utility guard, the Mt. Zion (MD) transfer played with constant aggression while showcasing a bruising downhill game with impressive polish and quickness for his build. Bryant was tough to stop getting to his bread and butter but also showed the ability to keep things honest as a reliable shooter from the perimeter with his feet set. Bryant will be among a core of seniors leading the way for the Tigers this season and could be a candidate to play onto scholarship-level radars over the course of the winter.

Bryant is a physical force who plays like a battering ram whenever he attacks the basket. He thrives on the interior, using his strength and toughness to finish through contact and consistently generate high-percentage scoring opportunities. Bryant was active on the glass, pursuing rebounds with purpose and putting himself in the right positions to secure extra possessions. He also displayed a strong feel for the game, reading defenses well and taking advantage of mismatches whenever they presented themselves. One of the more intriguing aspects of his offensive game is his ability to operate from the foul line area, where he can score, facilitate, or attack off the dribble. Bryant has the ability to pile up points in a hurry with his physical scoring style, and his overall production continues to point toward him being a legitimate scholarship-level prospect.

Will makes the move over from O’Connell to sure up a deep Mt. Zion roster. Can handle the rock on the perimeter and create for himself at a much better rate. Will can shoot the ball well from range and makes the defense pay with space. I like his work in the midrange area, can really do damage on the floor creating from inside the perimeter with less dribbles. Uses his strength well underneath the rim and sheds off defense on his drives with his big-guard frame. Hoping to see another jump in his progression during his time in Lanham with the Warriors.
