Another modern four man who plays with an edge, Akason is one of the more intriguing long term prospects from this year’s NY Rens 2030 group. He’s a great rebounder and shows good touch both at the rim and from beyond the arc. Deceptively athletic, Akason also brought value as a shot blocker at different points of the season. A transfer to Green Farms Academy (CT) represents a slight step up in competition while Akason will still be in a position to produce in a real way.
