One of the highest upside players at the event, Provitt was active in the paint at both ends of the court. His size gave him a rebounding advantage against most players at the event and his athleticism allowed him to throw down some dunks and block some shots. I also got to see a few ball handling flashes as well from Provitt. A raw post player but one with tremendous upside, Provitt would be best served by redshirting at a four-year program or looking at post grad and JUCO options, Provitt is a prospect who could be really, really good in a few years.

Provitt is one of the most intriguing available big men as he’s really taken a sharp rise over his senior season and gets better each time I watch him play. With his fluidity as an athlete and progression as a scorer, Provitt is a prospect we could look back in a few years and see how he had a great college career. Provitt might not be ready to play day one at a college program but if a school develops him, he could be a key piece in a few seasons.

One of my favorite late bloomer prospects in the state, Provitt is taking strides each time I watch him play and continues to flash his intriguing upside. A fluid athlete for his size, Provitt can move his feet on switches and protect the rim. Starting to become more confident as an offensive player, Provitt will take some time offensively at the college level but his improvements suggest that it’ll come sooner rather than later. Provitt shows the flashes of a prospect that could wind up much better than he is today down the road and could be a steal. Scholarship, JUCO and Division III programs should check Provitt out.

A major stock rising big man, Provitt has been a great gem to find in the past couple weeks watching him twice for Thomas Worthington. Active at 6’7, Provitt threw down a couple dunks and moves his feet well. The highlight of the game for the Cardinals was when Provitt ripped the ball from a ball handler and threw it down with authority in transition. Not ready to play at the scholarship level right now, Provitt is the type of player who could end up at a small college and either transfer up or wind up an all-conference selection. Lots of upside with this 6’7 post prospect.

Another new name Provitt showed some intriguing flashes with a monster dunk and block. Standing at 6’7 Provitt moved pretty well and played a majority of the game. Small college coaches are always asking for size and Provitt has some physical tools to work with and is getting good experience playing heavy minutes for the Cardinals. I think Division III and JUCO programs should be giving Provitt a look if they want to bring in a big man for the 2023 class.
