About Tyrece

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a jack of all trades. I’m a high level rebounder and shot blocker against all kinds of defenders. I am able to create space in the paint and mid range. I am able to occasionally knock down a 3. I am also a solid ball handler, able to get to the rim. I am able to use my size and length or both sides of the ball. I am able to be put at a post position which I have played my highschool career.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a hardworker, I want to be the best by any means necessary. I am very coachable and have never hand problems with coaches or players. I just want to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I played for Minnesota heat for 2 years. I went to tryouts for Powerhouse, but my works schedule got in the way.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I believe I have learned resilience most of all, I have faced struggles my entire life. But each time I have pushed through.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Though out my career I have faced a lot of struggles, from not making jv my 9th and 10th grade year or 11th year, to not having enough money for basketball shoes, to coaches not believing in me. Even still facing challenges today, I push through.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am look for any college that will give me a basketball scholarship, regardless of where it is, or the size, I just want to play basketball
