He’s a big time athlete that loves to finish above the rim and deny shot attempts. The ceiling for McDaniels is scary to think about. McDaniels averaged 16.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 2.9 blocks as Spencer cruised to their first state title. Tycen is hearing from multiple D-I schools. He’s a defensive anchor but is a sneaky good offensive player that likes to slash to the rim and occasionally shoot the three. His length and bounce give him a high ceiling athletically.

Defensive tone setter for state champion Spencer. Long, athletic combo-forward that excels at the top of the press. Sets traps for ball handlers, jumps passes and is a very good shot blocker. Underrated with the ball in his hands. Slasher finishes above the rim and has shown flashes of a three-point shot over career.
