About Tyair

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is similar to Kevin Durant's. I'm able to score on all three levels. I can stretch the floor, create space and use my basketball IQ to perceive the opponent. I know how to get needed shots and on defense I also make a hug impact on both my team and the other team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a very calm person who can control their emotions. I don't let my opponents get in my head, I just show them who's better through my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I have received non-sport awards such as being nominated to represent Michigan for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence. Along as being on the all "A" honor roll through all of Junior High, and many more.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed skills such as being a leader. I feel that I can have a huge influence on people and I use that to build the people around me up. I also love being apart of a team because it gives me a chance to help others out and helping people out is important to me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A challenge that I have faced was playing with older guys so they didn't see me as someone with influence or up to par with them. In the end that changed because I didn't let them discourage me and I just keep proving them wrong through my game and teamwork skills.

What type of college are you looking for?

The type of collage I'm looking for is a D1 or D2 college. I have hopes that the college that I will attend has not only a basketball team that fits me but also a great medical program.
