If Barlow is half as good as the scouts from New Jersey say, Lansdale Catholic could win a few PCL games this winter. In 2023-24 this scoring point guard played at Weequahic HS (NJ) where he averaged 18.8 points per night and made 61 triples on the season. He poured in 40 points against Hillside on the strength of 8 made threes. Last season Barlow registered ten games where he made four or more three pointers. Barlow is also an electric off the dribble scoring threat who can produce points in transition or the half-court. Barlow can use his slick handles to get to his mid-range spots too. This former Weequahic HS (NJ) star is the true definition of a scoring point guard. In 2023-24 Barlow tore up the competition in New Jersey posting a 40-point game as well as a handful of 30-spots. He has drained over 100 threes in the last two seasons. In addition to popping triples, Barlow is a dynamic off the dribble scoring machine. After both his freshman and sophomore seasons Barlow was a two-time All-Freedom Division selection. Barlow holds an offer from Cal State Bakersfield.

Barlow has shown the ability these past two seasons that he can be an elite option from behind the three-point line. The quick and shifty guard is averaging about 18 ppg while hitting around 2-3 threes a game. He does an excellent job of finding different ways to get open and how to get his shot up over taller players. He likes to break defenders down with his elusive handles to get around tough defenses for open-shot opportunities.

Barlow is an exciting and electric guard watch play as he seems to have some sort of highlight play every game. His ability to handle the basketball is already elite at his level. He can cross up and blow by anyone trying to defend him. Barlow can finish at the rim over multiple defenders or will look to create his shot off the dribble with his quick release. As a shot-creator, he will usually draw double teams allowing Barlow to throw quick passes to his open teammates.

Barlow is a player that has a lot of toughness to him and will look to make the pass every time. When it comes to the fastbreak he can throw some pin-point on the money passes. Barlow can strip taller players and then look to throw long outlet passes. His speed gives him the ability to get to the rim before anyone else or stop on a dime and hit the pull-up midrange shot.

Barlow has a lot of shiftiness and quickness to his game. He can weave in and out of defenses with his tight handles. Barlow is excellent at hitting the pull-up three-point shot, especially in transition. He can break a defender down and hit the step-back shot. Barlow is great at helping out with traps and double teams and has quick hands to allow him to steal the ball. His hustle and instinct drive him to dive after every loose ball.

Barlow has a very quick shot with good range giving him the advantage to hit tough jumpers from behind the arc. His tight handles allow him to get any shot he wants to keep the defense off-balanced at all times. Barlow is quick off the dribble and can hit the standing or moving shot as he shoots with extreme confidence. He made 50 three-pointers this season and I fully expect that number to go way up.
