The senior center closed out the tournament with back to back double double performances.  He was simply too much for the smaller Mustangs around the basket as he grabbed 15 rebounds, scored 19 points and rejected 4 shots.  Moses is a throwback center prospect who has made strong strides over this year. His movements around the basket are now quicker and stronger, with him understanding a key but sometimes forgotten concept. Keeping the ball high. It’s improved his efficiency on the offensive end, while he works hard as a rebounder and contesting shots on the defensive end. Continuing to improve his foot speed is an area of improvement, but Moses plays hard and is a productive anchor for the Patriots.

The big man in the middle had an active showing on both ends of the court. He did a good job of either securing rebounds himself or tapping them out to teammates.  Offensively he was a reliable source of production when he got it down low, and even showed some soft touch extending out to 8-10 feet.  Size can’t be taught, and the height Moses has often brings an impact beyond the box score to the Patriots.

Height, it can’t be taught. It’s an old cliche but as long the rims are placed 10 feet high, it will always ring true. At his height of 6’8, Moses will always have a chance to play the next level, and he showed good signs of taking more advantage of his natural gifts at the RUN Showcase. He was active on the glass on both ends of the court and even had a couple more fluid looking moves to finish at the rim. The tall Metro Christian Patriot needs to continue to maxim his lateral agility and attack the glass with ferocity, which will help him make a big impact this winter and potentially earn him college opportunities.
