During my visit to Holly Springs, Tripp was out for that practice, but I highlighted him as a key piece to watch for them. My opinion enhanced even more after seeing him perform amongst his peers. Despite only being 6’0, Tripp is explosive and consistently touches the paint. If he’s not finishing with either hand efficiently, he’s able to finish above the rim with one or two hand flushes. His feel for the game is very high, understanding when to be aggressive and when to be a playmaker. All of this on top of being an A+ defender who has a nose for the ball and the physicality to guard bigger players. An underrated freshmen who I thought made a name for himself amongst a talented class.
