Trey is having a fantastic senior year and that continued last night. Deuel took care of business against Arlington 43-25. Maaland stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals.

He never takes a play off. Maaland defends with discipline & physicality at a high and competitive level. Trey is not afraid to defend bigger players. Maaland plays with an edge and is the definition of consistency on the hardwood. Every coach/team needs a player like Trey!

-The Cardinals invested their time and energy into basketball this offseason and they played very well. In particular, Maaland had an excellent off-season. He was also killing it in fall league. All this leads me to believe that Maaland will have a monster season. As the main man for Deuel, Trey will have the chance to dominate this season. Maaland can score in a variety of ways and he is a nice athlete. He is also an outstanding defender that will consistently get stops.
