Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
Has good size for a guard and can be a very effective scorer from different levels when he’s picking his spots and working for good looks. His length helps him be a contributor on the glass and can bring extra defensive pressure along the perimeter with his ability to play up in passing lanes.

Standing with impressive length, Jones leverages his long arms to disrupt defenders and create passing lanes effortlessly. His smooth crossover move, paired with a variety of dribble moves, allows him to get open and aggressively attack downhill. Not just a threat inside, he boasts a reliable deep shot, forcing defenders to stretch out and guard him closely beyond the arc. His versatile offensive skill set makes him a constant challenge for opposing defenses.

Taller, athletic point guard who can score at a good clip. Has extended range from behind the arc, and that combo of length and shooting can provide some dynamic scoring. Uses his length well to set up defenders and get the edge with long strides and good push dribbles, and also does well to get his hands up and in passing lanes, especially on switches.

Trevelle is a shifty guard who knows how to attack the defensive weak points. Jones gets through contact efficiently, being able to finish through it in the paint with his strength and agility. He’ll have a big role for North Central once again and could have the ball in his hands often, which won’t be any problem for him. He lets the game come to him, playing with patience but is always ready to go full speed and get by his defender.

Here is a guard you will know QUICKLY, if you don’t already. Jones is likely going to be one of the top options for North Central with the team losing some key players in the 2024 class. Trevelle is patient with the ball in his hands, not forcing anything and allowing the game to come to him.rnHis jumper is smooth, being able to hit shots consistently from deep or on pull up jumpers. Be on the watch for this 6’2″ guard in the 2026 class.

Jones may have been one of the more polished players in the 16U division. The 6-foot-2 lead guard was sinking jumpers and dishing dimes for Team Together on both days, utilizing his length and athleticism to his advantage on the defensive end.

Long guard who was able to create chances on the offensive end for himself and others. Had a nice stroke going from the perimeter and was able to create space with good change of speeds in and out of his moves. Was able to use some of that length at the rim to finish with either hand and generally made good decisions with the rock.

Jones is a really quick, lengthy guard who plays both spots but looks more natural at the point. He’s a solid floor-stretcher, can find the timing to hit passing windows right when they open, and has some ability to work the pick and roll and either finish or dish. I really like where his handle is going and the potential to create off of drives. He’ll be a name to watch who should step into a big role next season but has also been a key guy for the Wolfpack who are off to a 6-1 start.

, but Jones adds another backcourt threat with his quickness and playmaking to keep the ball moving around and attacking. He showed some real ability to drive and create, make space on the perimeter and find slashers to the hoop against Cheney. He can shoot a little from 3-point too and should be a player to keep an eye on going forward.

Jones faced a tough matchup against Eastside Catholic but showed some fire out there and was actually one of the quicker, shiftier players with the ball in the game. He didn’t do a ton getting to the hoop or with penetration, but he showed some really promising ability to create space on the perimeter and defending out there as well.
