Smith supplied Cedar Hill’s primary scoring punch, posting 17 points while drawing fouls and generating pressure off the dribble. Even while facing heavy defensive attention, he continued to attack, living at the free-throw line and keeping Cedar Hill within striking distance. Defensively, Smith forced seven turnovers with active hands and quick anticipation. His competitive fire and high-usage production were central to Cedar Hill’s fight.

is a strong-framed guard who plays downhill and thrives on creating physical mismatches off the dribble. He absorbs contact well, uses angles to get to his spots, and finishes through defenders with ease. His effort on defense is notable, often drawing tough assignments and setting a tone with his hustle. Offensively, he’s a streaky shooter but makes up for it with aggressive drives and second-chance effort. Smith projects as a power guard with two-way toughness and a scorer’s mindset.

and he is ATHLETIC. Only a 2026 his speed and high motor was on full display this weekend. Not only was active defensively, he brought high energy to the transition game as well. He can light it up in a hurry often going for a combo of 6-8 points in a row. He also shot the 3 ball at a super high percentage this weekend making him a 3 level scorer. One sign of poised player is being able to play in any environment and he looked as comfortable as possible feeding his team mates and running the offense. His quick first step also makes it tough for anybody to stay in front of him on the perimeter and his finishes are super tough overall. Trae’s stock is going way up and he should be able to get the exposure he needs contributing to a super athletic Cedar Hill squad this year.

, the 6’0″ point guard, was a dynamic multidimensional scorer with the ability to take over games when he found his rhythm. When he was on fire, there was little that could be done to stop him. With the ball in his possession, he was skilled at breaking down his defender and finishing at the rim with layups. Even without the ball, he was quick to spot up, get his feet set, and unleash his shot. While he tended to have a scoring-first mentality as a point guard, his knack for drawing defensive attention made him a formidable presence on the court.
