A terrific passer and hitting teammates in the box to set up more efficient shots. His handles are fantastic like the ball is on a string. Another aspect of his dribbling is how strong he is with the rock, as he makes defenders look foolish trying to steal the ball. This kid’s game has potential to get triple doubles at times in the next level.

was putting the ball in the basket in multiple ways from the lead guard spot. A fearless driver, he was swerving into the paint and taking on contact for and-one finishes. He also was taking and hitting pull-up and step-back threes with confidence and fluidity, making for a deadly combination that was hard to stop for the opposing defenses. Additionally, he was moving the ball around the half-court, made some defensive rebounds, and took charges on the defensive end which resulted in big turnovers by putting his body on the line. The Fairfield commit was on a mission this weekend and absolutely succeeded with his play for Putnam Science.

Williams, one of New England’s craftiest ball-handlers, proved to be one of the MADE Hoops circuit’s top lead guards while running with the New Haven Heat. A dynamic presence with the basketball in his hands, Williams was one of the summer’s biggest winners and should only continue his winning ways this winter at Putnam Science Academy. The third lefty on this list, he’s an incredibly crafty passer, a good athlete, and a terrific perimeter defender. He has an elite handle and is one of the best change of direction guards in New England. Most importantly, he comes across as a natural leader and someone that other prospects enjoy playing with. As he continues to refine his offensive game, while shutting down the opposition defensively, his offer list should continue to grow, especially with the amount of eyes expected to be in the gym at PSA this fall.

Rise: +51
Tony, better known as Butta, has seen his stock rise while playing with the New Haven Heat this spring. One of the class’s better ball-handlers, Williams seems to have the ball on a string, particularly when navigating ball screens. He’s a capable scorer from behind the arc and shows some craftiness as a finisher around the rim. Defensively, he hounds opposing ball-handlers and has great instincts off the ball for when to go for steals. Most importantly, he’s led his team to a lot of wins this spring and in the process, has gained the attention of D1’s up and down the east coast.
