Expert Analysis
Kyle Sandy | Prep Hoops Scout
Alexander passes the eye-test immediately. Standing 6-foot-5 with length, athleticism and physical tools, the Creekside wing already looks the part of a high-upside prospect. Tim impacts games with his motor and versatility while continuing to expand his offensive skillset.
As a freshman, Alexander establishes himself as an athletic forward capable of creating mismatches around the basket. He attacks the offensive glass aggressively and uses his strength and length effectively inside 15 feet. Tim finishes well around the rim and continues showing flashes of physical dominance against smaller defenders.
The biggest development comes with his jump shot. While perimeter shooting isn’t yet a major part of his arsenal, Alexander shoots the ball with increasing confidence throughout the summer. As that outside consistency grows, his offensive ceiling rises considerably because defenders already struggle matching his athleticism and physical profile.
Defensively, Tim projects with massive upside. His length, mobility and athleticism give him the potential to defend virtually every position on the floor. He covers ground quickly, protects the rim from the weak side and rebounds effectively in traffic. If the offensive skillset continues catching up to the physical tools, Alexander could make a major leap during his sophomore season.
