Marquez is a true floor general, and that is something that you do not see too often. He controls tempo, facilitates the offense, and takes pride in locking down his assignment. He’s a tenacious defender who’s aggressive, takes on the challenge, and does not back down to any matchup. Offensively, he spaces the floor with consistent perimeter shooting and mid-range touch. With a deep roster at Fossil Ridge, Marquez’s IQ, leadership, and ability to elevate teammates will make this a strong developmental year for him but a player that I feel deserves some attention that we did not want to miss out on having in the rankings.
