Shreeve played with nonstop pressure this weekend and never let defenses get comfortable. He was relentless in his approach, constantly putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim with purpose. Once he got downhill he looked confident finishing through contact and finding ways to score in traffic. His ability to keep driving possession after possession stood out, wearing down defenders with his energy and aggression. Shreeve didn’t overthink it and he just played downhill basketball, embraced contact and got results. A tough, attacking performance that showed real toughness, scoring instincts and an edge that carried throughout the weekend

Shreeve was Eagle Valley’s Swiss-army-knife this year, putting together quite the season for his team. He was practically the team leader in every category, and that is why he’s making a jump in the rankings. Whatever the occasion and the team asked for he made happen. Shreeve put up 8.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4 assists, and also recorded 2.3 steals a game. He was the team’s player who they put on the other team’s best player; he played much above his size and was one of the better rebounders in the conference as only a sophomore. Can only imagine what’s in store during his junior year with all eyes on him.

Eagle Valley looks like they’ll be the top team in the 5A Western Slopes, and one of the underclassmen who has been holding it down over there is Shreeve. Shreeve has filled the box sheet for a team that sits at 7-2 on the year. He’s putting up 9.6 points and 5.6 rebounds a game. He’s a three-level scorer who plays within the flow of the offense. He rotates the ball and moves without the ball, but takes over at times. He has also been a solid defender who’s averaging 2 steals as well. He’s the team’s X-factor and pushes them to be a dynamic team. He’s a prospect to know, and he jumps into the rankings with his work in the first half of the season.
