Simpson had some outstanding moments this summer and really highlighted his potential as a creative guard with a big scoring punch. He’s a legit shooter from 3-point range, has the burst, toughness, and finesse to score at the rim in various ways, and has potential as a ball defender with his quickness and good hands. Garfield will have a loaded backcourt this winter, but when Simpson gets in the game, he has the skills to have an instant impact.
