Bush is an explosive scorer who can fill it up in bunches, averaging 21.2 points per game in his junior year for the Polar Bears. He’s quick, but doesn’t rely solely on his speed, instead using change of speeds to help keep defenders off balance. He shoots it well from the mid-range, is a good finisher around the rim, and is a capable shooting threat (36%) from the arc, particularly off the dribble.

Possesses a strong mix of scoring versatility and playmaking feel. A true 3 level scorer from the combo guard spot. Would fit in nicely in either position dependent upon program need. Knocked down shots off the bounce smoothly in rhythm. Has a selfless game as well. Thread the needle a couple times between defenders in transition or half court. Helpful on hard traps and zero gap pressure to rush offense into quick decisions. A projected well rounded back court gamer.

The top scorer for Des Moines North, T’Angello Bush T’Angello Bush 6'0" | SG Des Moines North | 2027 State IA is averaging 22.8 points per game (PPG) during his junior campaign after averaging just 7.2 PPG as a sophomore.
North has had a rough start to the 2025-26 season, posting a record of just 4-6 so far, but it’s no fault of Bush. Currently ranked fifth in 4A in scoring, Bush also leads his team in rebounding with 6.9 per contest despite standing at just 6-foot-1.
Bush could even improve his scoring numbers, as he’s shooting just 69.7% from the free throw line, and he only shoots three per game. If he can ramp up the attempts and make them more consistently, Bush could easily average closer to 25 per game.

Bush was one of the best pure scorers in the gym on Saturday. He handles the ball really well and shoots it well from pretty much anywhere on the floor. When you pair his handles with his quick first step, he’s able to get to his spots seemingly whenever he wants off the dribble, and he does a nice job changing speeds to keep his defender off balance. He’s a good, creative finisher around the rim with either hand, and he does a nice job using his all-around scoring ability to get his teammates involved as well, dishing to open teammates when the defense over-commits to him.
